Carol’s Travel Tip

If you are ever in the area of the Outer Banks, please take my advise and go over to Roanoke Island and see the outdoor drama The Lost Colony.

This is a wonderful moving and lasting memory you will always cherish as I have.

Music, wonderful actors (actually I met Andy Griffith because he was good friends with the owners of the Booth House), and he first started out in acting as Sir Walter Raleigh. By the way, my favorite people to meet staying at the Booth House were the past and present at the time the actors who played Sir Walter Raleigh. So handsome…..were they.

Be sure to check the schedule for this wonderful outdoor drama.

About Me

I have been a travel agent since 1991 after graduating from Mundus Institute of Travel in Phoenix, Arizona, and along my career path before becoming a travel agent I was a legal secretary. Travel has always been a passion of mine and have a hard time giving up on the passion of helping clients with their travel plans.

My past experiences in the travel industry have been working in a leisure agency, being a Reservationist for the Westin Hotels. One of my favorite was working for the Walt Disney Swan Resort in Florida, and the Westin Innisbrook Resort which was a golf resort in Florida.

One of my favorite employers was the Walt Disney Travel Company/WDW. I was even Cast Member of the Month. What wonderful memories of my time at the WDTC.

Another favorite job was being the General Manager at the Booth Guest House in Manteo, Roanoke Island, North Carolina. I have so many memories of the weddings that were held in the Gazebo near the waterfront. And, the reunions of the cast members past and present of the outdoor drama The Lost Colony.

If you are not interested in Scotland, England, Wales and Ireland, my posts will include the travel destinations I have become certified with:

Gold Ireland Specialist
MGM Resorts International
Palace Resorts
PRO Palace Wedding Specialist
St. Maarten
USTOA Specialist
Viking River Cruises

Thank you for your visit, and if you have another destination you are interested in just let me know. I love receiving certification from the travel industry.

I loved booking fairytale weddings for Disney at Walt Disney World and consider myself an expert on helping making your dream come true wedding. If I were to marry again my fairytale wedding would be a Scottish wedding with Spud the Piper playing his bagpipes at Hunterston Castle.

Have a wonderful Sunday afternoon,
